Golf in St. Lucia
The one and only public course where visitors can play golf in St. Lucia is Cap Estate's 18-hole St. Lucia Golf and Country Club. St. Lucia is mountainous and covered with rainforest in the south, so these fairways were carved out of some of the island's only suitable land in its thinner northerly section. From there, golfers of all calibers will enjoy both the course and the views it offers of the Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean, one of the many bonuses, including great weather conditions, of playing golf in St. Lucia.
Green fees for 18 holes of golf will cost US$95 at the Country Club. St. Lucia Golf and Country Club regulations also require golfers to use golf carts, wear collared shirts and tailored pants (no t-shirts or jeans), and use soft-spiked golf shoes. A pro shop is onsite for equipment rental and to arrange lessons. Because this is the only place to play golf in St. Lucia, securing a reservation in advance is essential to book a good tee-time.
